The New England Patriots are waiving linebacker Terez Hall as part of Saturday’s roster cutdown to 53, as Jeff Howe and Nick Underhill of The Athletic first reported.

Hall had signed with New England as an undrafted free agent in the spring.

The former Missouri team captain logged 13 tackles over four preseason showings with the Patriots this August, posting a half-sack and one pass deflection in the process.

Hall, who garnered $85,000 guaranteed from New England between his rookie signing bonus and base salary, started Thursday night’s summer finale against the New York Giants.

The 6-foot-2, 235-pound linebacker tallied 74 tackles, five sacks, seven quarterback hurries and an interception as a Tigers senior in 2018.

The NFL’s roster deadline is set to arrive at 4 p.m. ET.
