The New England Patriots will have to wait until Sunday to enter Week 4, when they go up against the Buffalo Bills on the road in a battle of 3-0 teams. This means that fans can sit back and relax tonight, and watch two of the league’s most storied franchises go at each other on Thursday Night Football. Who should they root for, you might ask? Well, let’s take a look at the two contestants to find out:

Philadelphia Eagles (1-2) at Green Bay Packers (3-0)

When: 8:20 p.m. ET

Where: Lambeau Field, Green Bay WI

Television: FOX and NFL Network

Live streaming: fuboTV (sign up here)

SB Nation coverage: Bleeding Green Nation (Eagles); Acme Packing Company (Packers)

Patriots rooting guide: Go Eagles! While an Eagles loss would improve the position of the seventh-round draft pick New England received as part of the Michael Bennett trade, Patriots fans should actually root for Philadelphia tonight — for one simple reason: the two teams will meet later this year. The better the Eagles’ record, the better the Patriots’ strength of schedule and possibly victory. When it comes to playoff tiebreakers in the AFC, this factor cannot be underestimated.
