The NFL’s divisional round is set for kickoff.
And 21 players from the New England Patriots’ past reside on 53-man playoff rosters for it.
The Minnesota Vikings, San Francisco 49ers, Tennessee Titans, Baltimore Ravens, Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs, Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers all carry active players with previous stints in New England.
Ten initially entered the league as Patriots. Eleven others arrived on roads ranging from offseason signing, to preseason trade acquisition, to midseason member of the practice squad.
As for whom, here’s a glance by game.
MINNESOTA AT SAN FRANCISCO: SATURDAY, 4:35 P.M. ET
VIKINGS

49ERS
- Jimmy Garoppolo, quarterback
- Jordan Matthews, wide receiver
- Robbie Gould, kicker
Minnesota’s Kline and San Francisco’s Gould signed with New England as undrafted rookies out of Kent State in 2013 and Penn State in 2005, respectively. Garoppolo then arrived in the second round of the 2014 draft. The former Eastern Illinois quarterback made his way from the Patriots to the 49ers at the 2017 trade deadline.
TENNESSEE AT BALTIMORE: SATURDAY, 8:15 P.M. ET
TITANS
- Dion Lewis, running back
- Cody Hollister, wide receiver
- Jamil Douglas, guard
- Logan Ryan, cornerback
RAVENS
- L.J. Fort, linebacker
- Jordan Richards, safety
Among the active rosters of Tennessee and Baltimore are a pair of defensive backs once drafted by New England’s war room. Ryan went No. 83 overall out of Rutgers in 2013. Richards went No. 64 overall out of Stanford two years later. Both have turned turnovers into touchdowns over the past two weeks.
HOUSTON AT KANSAS CITY: SUNDAY, 3:05 P.M. ET

- Angelo Blackson, defensive tackle
- Barkevious Mingo, linebacker
- Keion Crossen, cornerback
- A.J. Moore, safety
CHIEFS
- Mike Pennel, defensive tackle
Houston’s top-dozen contributors in the kicking game include four ex-Patriots. Moore and Mingo finished the regular season ranked first and second in snaps. Crossen and Carter combined for nearly 400 on special teams, as well, with the latter serving as the Texans’ primary punt and kickoff returner.
SEATTLE AT GREEN BAY: SUNDAY, 6:40 P.M. ET
SEAHAWKS
- Jacob Hollister, tight end
- Dekoda Watson, linebacker
- Tyler Ott, long snapper
PACKERS
- Jake Kumerow, wide receiver
- Jared Veldheer, offensive tackle
Two members of Seattle’s 53 entered as undrafted Patriots signings. As for Green Bay’s side of the divisional aisle, Kumerow logged two weeks on the New England practice squad in the fall of 2017 and Veldheer was placed on the Patriots’ retired list after one week last May. Claimed off waivers before Thanksgiving, Veldheer has since appeared in two games for Green Bay.
