The New England Patriots’ season is over, but the NFL playoffs continue nevertheless. Today, the final two games of the divisional round are on the menu and we will see one game each in the AFC and the NFC. First, the Kansas City Chiefs will host the Houston Texans to determine who will advance to the AFC Championship Game. Later, the Green Bay Packers will enter the tournament and welcome the Seattle Seahawks to Lambeau Field.

With that being said, who should Patriots fans root for today? Let’s take a look at the two games to find out.

#4 Houston Texans (10-6) at #2 Kansas City Chiefs (12-4)

When: 3:05 p.m. ET

Where: Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City MO

Television: CBS

Live streaming: fuboTV (sign up here)

SB Nation coverage: Battle Red Blog (Texans), Arrowhead Pride (Chiefs)

Patriots rooting guide: Go Texans! With one former Patriot — Mike Vrabel — already advancing to the conference finals with his Tennessee Titans, New England fans should root for another today: Houston head coach Bill O’Brien could lead his team to its first ever AFC title game against one of the Patriots’ main rivals over the last few years. While the Texans enter the game as underdogs, they did beat Kansas City earlier this season.

#5 Seattle Seahawks (11-5) at #2 Green Bay Packers (13-3)

When: 6:40 p.m. ET

Where: Lambeau Field, Green Bay WI

Television: FOX

Live streaming: fuboTV (sign up here)

SB Nation coverage: Field Gulls (Seahawks), Acme Packing Company (Packers)

Patriots rooting guide: Go Packers! The reason to root for Green Bay over Seattle is simple: the Patriots own the Seahawks’ seventh-round draft pick this year due to the Jacob Hollister trade last offseason. If the visitors get eliminated today, the pick comes a bit earlier on day three.
