The Reese’s Senior Bowl is the next part in what Bill Belichick and Nick Caserio have described as a “mosaic.”
And while recent Januaries haven’t brought a full New England Patriots contingent to Mobile, Ala., a full list of eventual Patriots have added tiles to their walls, ceilings and floors there.
Since 2010, according to the Senior Bowl archives, New England’s war room has drafted 36 prospects who participated in the college all-star showcase at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.
Another 11 Senior Bowl attendees over that span signed their initial NFL contracts with the Patriots as undrafted rookies, and north of 50 more have stopped by Foxborough as waiver claims, free agents or trade acquisitions during their careers.
Here’s a glance at the past decade of Senior Bowl rosters through a Patriots prism.

Degrees of participation vary. The same goes for what becomes of an invitation.
Michigan defensive end Chase Winovich and West Virginia offensive tackle Yodny Cajuste, who both withdrew from last year’s Senior Bowl due to injuries, are among the omissions. Alabama running back Damien Harris, taken No. 87 overall by New England, is another.
But the mosaics will continue to be pieced together as weigh-ins, meetings and practices get underway for Saturday’s 2:30 p.m. kickoff.
Some will be revisited by the Patriots in the spring. Some will further down the line.
“The all-star games, everybody starts from scratch. They’re all in a new system, if you will,” Belichick told WEEI during his last trek to the Senior Bowl in 2016. “That’s what they’re all going to be doing when they go to a new team in a few months anyway.”
