The projected injury report remained unchanged for the New England Patriots on Friday.
Four members of the active roster would have been limited participants if New England returned to the facility in preparation for the Denver Broncos.
The Patriots, expected to hold their first practice of the week Saturday morning, have worked remotely after defensive tackle Bill Murray and cornerback Stephon Gilmore joined quarterback Cam Newton on the Covid-19 reserve list.
Official game statuses will follow for the rescheduled 5 p.m. ET Monday kickoff at Gillette Stadium.
DID NOT PARTICIPATE
- Patriots: no players listed
- Broncos: RB LeVante Bellamy (knee), WR K.J. Hamler (hamstring), TE Noah Fant (ankle), DT Mike Purcell (knee), LB Jeremiah Attaochu (quad)
New England enters the weekend with three openings on the 53-man roster due to the Covid-19 transactions.
The Broncos downgraded Bellamy from limited to a non-participant on Friday, while Hamler, Fant, Purcell and Attaochu all remained sidelined for a third consecutive practice as the visit to Foxborough nears.
LIMITED PARTICIPATION
- Patriots: WR Julian Edelman (knee), OT Isaiah Wynn (calf), G Shaq Mason (calf), DT Adam Butler (shoulder)
- Broncos: QB Drew Lock (right shoulder), LB Joseph Jones (knee)
Of New England’s estimated limited, Mason stood as the lone inactive in Week 4 against the Kansas City Chiefs. The right guard, dealing with a calf injury, hadn’t missed an offensive snap prior to then. Rookie sixth-round pick Michael Onwenu took over in Mason’s absence.
As for the Broncos, Lock returned to practice on Wednesday and has been designated as limited since. Denver’s starting quarterback went 23-of-38 passing for 236 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions in September before suffering the injury to his throwing shoulder.
FULL PARTICIPATION
- Patriots: no players listed
- Broncos: RB Phillip Lindsay (foot), CB Bryce Callahan (wrist), CB Davontae Harris (hamstring), S Trey Marshall (wrist)
More will be learned on Saturday when it comes to New England’s degrees of availability.
But Lindsay continued in full at Broncos practice on Friday. The two-time 1,000-yard rusher, who last played in the season opener due to a toe issue, is set to rejoin the backfield tandem with Melvin Gordon.
