The New England Patriots reconvened Thursday without three members of the active roster.
Starting defensive backs Stephon Gilmore, Jonathan Jones and Terrence Brooks did not participate in New England’s full-pads practice. And an additional 17 again did so in a limited capacity as the Baltimore Ravens near Gillette Stadium.
Here’s the updated injury report heading into Sunday’s 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff.
DID NOT PARTICIPATE
- Patriots: CB Stephon Gilmore (knee), CB Jonathan Jones (illness), S Terrence Brooks (illness)
- Ravens: RB Mark Ingram II (ankle), DT Brandon Williams (not injury related), DE Calais Campbell (calf), CB Jimmy Smith (ankle)
Gilmore had been listed as a partial participant as the Patriots returned for a Wednesday walkthrough. But the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year has missed consecutive games after tweaking his knee during practice in late October. He would remain sidelined on Thursday while illnesses kept both Jones and Brooks out of the New England secondary.
Four Ravens veterans did not practice, either, including Ingram. The Heisman running back by way of Alabama last played in Week 6 because of an ankle injury and was limited the day prior.
LIMITED PARTICIPATION
- Patriots: RB Damien Harris (ankle/chest), RB J.J. Taylor (illness), WR N’Keal Harry (concussion), TE Ryan Izzo (hamstring), OT Isaiah Wynn (ankle), G Joe Thuney (ankle), G Shaq Mason (calf), DT Lawrence Guy (shoulder/elbow/knee), DT Carl Davis (concussion), DE Deatrich Wise (knee/hand), LB John Simon (elbow), LB Shilique Calhoun (knee), LB Ja’Whaun Bentley (groin), CB J.C. Jackson (knee), S Kyle Dugger (ankle), S Cody Davis (calf), K Nick Folk (back)
- Ravens: LB Matthew Judon (calf), LB L.J. Fort (finger)
New England’s 17 limited stayed the same. The downgraded Gilmore being the lone exception. Taylor, Harry, Guy and Bentley were inactive Monday night at MetLife Stadium against the New York Jets.
On the Baltimore half, Judon returned to practice while managing a calf issue. The outside linebacker has started all eight contests this fall to register 25 tackles, two sacks and two pass deflections. He’d be limited alongside Fort for the Ravens’ defense on Thursday.
