The New England Patriots opened and closed the week with a full 53-man roster in attendance.
A total of 15 would be limited in practice on Friday, including wide receiver N’Keal Harry and cornerback Stephon Gilmore. All 15 have since been listed as questionable to face the Houston Texans on Sunday.
Here’s the final injury report ahead of the 1 p.m. ET kickoff at NRG Stadium.
OUT
- Patriots: no players listed
- Texans: S Michael Thomas (shoulder)
Both running back Sony Michel and offensive tackle Justin Herron are designated to return from New England’s injured reserve. The deadline for the former to be activated to the roster nears after resuming on-field work Nov. 5. The latter, in contrast, had his 21-day window open earlier this week.
The Texans have ruled out one veteran for Sunday. Thomas missed three consecutive practices due to a shoulder issue. The 2018 Pro Bowler has appeared in every game this season with Houston, playing 99 snaps on defense and 179 snaps on special teams.
QUESTIONABLE
- Patriots: RB Damien Harris (ankle/chest), WR N’Keal Harry (shoulder), WR Matthew Slater (knee), TE Ryan Izzo (hamstring/hand), OT Isaiah Wynn (ankle), G Joe Thuney (ankle), G Shaq Mason (calf), DT Lawrence Guy (shoulder/elbow/knee), DT Adam Butler (shoulder), DE Deatrich Wise (knee/hand), LB John Simon (elbow), LB Ja’Whaun Bentley (groin), LB Terez Hall (shoulder), CB Stephon Gilmore (knee), K Nick Folk (back)
- Texans: FB Cullen Gillaspia (back), WR Kenny Stills (back), OT Laremy Tunsil (illness), G Senio Kelemete (concussion), DE Charles Omenihu (hamstring), LB Jacob Martin (not injury related), P Bryan Anger (right quad)
Harry, dealing with a shoulder ailment, marked the lone addition to New England’s limited. The wideout had returned to the field in Week 10 after missing two games due to a concussion. As for Gilmore, the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year has been inactive for three games in a row after injuring his knee during an October practice. Gilmore was made available for a video conference call with reporters on Friday afternoon.
As for the Texans, seven are officially questionable. That list includes Tunsil. The starting left tackle has been in for every offensive snap this fall, but did not participate in practice this week because of an illness. The rest of Houston’s 50-50 did so in a partial capacity.
