Thanksgiving 2020, like the entire year so far, is different. No large family gatherings, no prime time football, no soothing knowledge that Tom Brady and Bill Belichick are getting ready for another playoff run together. It’s been a rough few months, no doubt about it.
Despite all that, however, there is still a lot to be thankful for.
We here at Pats Pulpit HQ — and I am speaking on behalf of the entire staff — are first and foremost thankful for you, the members of this community that has been built here over the last 15 years.
Whether it is participating in the comment sections, reading stories, listening to podcasts, writing FanPosts or following along on social media, we are ever grateful for each and every one of you who has decided to spend time with us. And it is not a responsibility we take lightly: we are trying to create an environment for fans to discuss the New England Patriots, and strive daily at bringing you the best coverage you can find.
All of that wouldn’t be possible without you, though. For that, we are not only indebted to you but also thankful for the trust and continued support you have shown us in these trying times (and, no, I’m not only talking about the implementation of Coral or the post-Brady Patriots).
2020 has been a challenging year, but we hope that Pats Pulpit will continue to be a safe haven and a place where people can gather and talk football — much like we all would do with our friends and families on any normal Thanksgiving Day.
So on behalf of all of us here at your extended virtual family, I hope you all have a very happy Thanksgiving.
And, as always: Go Pats!
