The New England Patriots will host the Arizona Cardinals without Isaiah Wynn.
The starting left tackle remained out of practice on Friday due to a knee injury suffered late in Week 11. Wynn, in for a Patriots-high 640 offensive snaps this season, has since been ruled out for Sunday.
An additional 13 members of the active roster have been listed as questionable for the 1 p.m. ET kickoff at Gillette Stadium.
Here are the game statuses between New England and Arizona.
OUT
- Patriots: RB Rex Burkhead (knee), OT Isaiah Wynn (knee)
- Cardinals: TE Darrell Daniels (ankle), DE Josh Mauro (hamstring), S Jalen Thompson (ankle)
A backfield transaction is imminent for Burkhead, who suffered a season-ending knee injury last Sunday versus the Houston Texans. And Wynn missed three consecutive practices after getting rolled up in the fourth quarter at NRG Stadium. The former No. 23 overall pick out of Georgia was replaced on the blindside by Jermaine Eluemunor for New England’s final drives.
Arizona will visit Foxborough without three as well as Larry Fitzgerald. The 37-year-old wide receiver was among the recent Cardinals players moved to the Covid-19 reserve list following a positive test result. Fitzgerald has played in 260 career regular-season games since entering the NFL in 2004, and hasn’t missed one since 2014.
QUESTIONABLE
- Patriots: RB J.J. Taylor (quad), WR N’Keal Harry (shoulder), WR Matthew Slater (knee), TE Ryan Izzo (hamstring/hand), G Shaq Mason (calf), DT Adam Butler (shoulder), DT Carl Davis (concussion), DT Byron Cowart (back), LB Tashawn Bower (illness), LB Ja’Whaun Bentley (groin), CB Stephon Gilmore (hand), S Kyle Dugger (toe), K Nick Folk (back)
- Cardinals: OL Justin Murray (hand), S Charles Washington (groin)
Taylor at running back, Dugger at safety and Slater on special teams all returned for the last Patriots practice of Week 12 after one-day absences. And at outside linebacker, so did Bower, who sat out Wednesday and Thursday because of an illness. Each now resides on New England’s 50-50 list for the meeting with Arizona. As does Davis on the interior defensive line. The October arrival was sidelined for Friday’s prep after being limited on Thanksgiving due to a concussion.
As for the Cardinals, quarterback Kyler Murray will go without a game designation. The MVP candidate had practiced in a partial capacity because of an injury to his throwing shoulder. Murray went 29-of-42 passing for 269 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in Arizona’s last outing.
