After losing four straight games, the New England Patriots are in dire need to get back into the win column: sitting at 2-5 and with the AFC East starting to slip away, the team will classify its Week 9 matchup against the New York Jets as a must-win. Luckily for the Patriots, the Jets are a golden opportunity to get back on track.

New York, after all, is still winless at 0-8 and well on its way to earn the number one overall draft pick in 2021. Before that game takes place, however, this week’s slate of games will get kicked off with another game tonight: the 5-2 Green Bay Packers will visit the 4-4 San Francisco 49ers in a highly-anticipated NFC matchup — one that takes place despite some recent Coronavirus cases in San Francisco.

We here at Pats Pulpit, meanwhile, will continue to aim for our ambitious goal of correctly trying pick each of those games regardless of when they are played.

SB Nation has partnered with Tallysight this year, after all, so we are gladly trying our best to a) use their game picking tool, and b) find out who of us is best at this. So without any further ado, here is this week’s round-up which is totally not biased in the Patriots’ direction whatsoever. And please let us know what you think in the comments below!
