Thanksgiving weekend and Monday Night Football may all be in the books, but the NFL’s 12th week of regular season action is still not over: welcome to Wednesday Afternoon Football! With the Coronavirus pandemic forcing the league to reschedule the AFC North matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the visiting Baltimore Ravens three times, the final game of Week 12 takes place in this unusual time slot.
With that said, here’s how you can watch the games and who New England Patriots fans should root for.
Baltimore Ravens (6-5) at Pittsburgh Steelers (10-0)
When: 3:40 p.m. ET
Where: Heinz Field, Pittsburgh PA
Television: NBC
Live streaming: fuboTV (Try for free here!)
SB Nation coverage: Baltimore Beatdown (Ravens), Behind the Steel Curtain (Steelers)
Patriots rooting guide: Go Steelers! It sounds wrong to root for the Black & Gold, yes, but modestly cheering on the home team is the way to go from New England’s perspective. After all, a Baltimore loss would help the Patriots in the race for one of the three wild card spots in the AFC: the team holds the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Ravens, and would get the nod when all is said and done. It will take a lot more than that for the Patriots to reach the tournament, sure, but every game going the club’s way is a welcome one. Therefore, go Steelers!
