The New England Patriots returned to practice with perfect attendance on Thursday.

Rookie linebacker Anfernee Jennings was present after being sidelined by an illness to begin the week. And a dozen members of the active roster were limited as the visit with the Los Angeles Chargers nears.

Including quarterback Cam Newton, who continues to manage an abdomen issue.

“I’m feeling as good as I should be feeling,” Newton told reporters during his evening video conference. “You just got to stay on top of things and see what the trainers say and just keep getting treatment.”

Here’s the second injury report ahead of Sunday’s 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff at SoFi Stadium.

  • Patriots: no players listed
  • Chargers: WR Joe Reed (ribs), DT Justin Jones (not injury related), LB Denzel Perryman (back), CB Casey Hayward Jr. (groin)

None of New England’s current 51 missed Thursday’s practice.

But Reed at receiver, Perryman at linebacker and Hayward at cornerback missed their second in a row for Los Angeles with ribs, back and groin injuries, respectively.

  • Patriots: QB Cam Newton (abdomen), RB J.J. Taylor (quadricep), FB Jakob Johnson (knee), WR Matthew Slater (knee), TE Ryan Izzo (hamstring/hand), G Shaq Mason (calf), DT Adam Butler (shoulder), DT Byron Cowart (back), LB Ja’Whaun Bentley (groin), CB J.C. Jackson (hip), S Kyle Dugger (toe), K Nick Folk (back)
  • Chargers: RB Kalen Ballage (ankle), DE Joey Bosa (shin), DE Uchenna Nwosu (chest), CB Chris Harris Jr. (foot)

The lone change among New England’s limited came at fullback, where Johnson was added to the injury report because of a knee injury. The International Player Pathway Program alum played 34 snaps on offense and seven on special teams last Sunday.

Bosa and Harris Jr. both graduated to partial participation for Los Angeles after the perennial Pro Bowlers sat out the previous session. Bosa, listed with a shin injury, stands with 7.5 sacks on the campaign at defensive end. Harris Jr., listed with a foot injury, stood at corner for 98 percent of the downs in his first game back from injured reserve.

  • Patriots: no players listed
  • Chargers: WR Mike Williams (illness), OT Bryan Bulaga (illness), G Trai Turner (ankle), P Ty Long (right hip)

The Patriots removed Jennings from the injury report following his return from an illness.

As for the Chargers, four went in full during Thursday’s prep. Veteran starters on the offensive line in Bulaga and Turner being among them. Both carried limited designations during the prior practice.
