The Scho Show Episode #80: Soundbites from the second day at the NFL scouting combine

Related: Cesar Ruiz: Leadership and Loss

Day Two of the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine is winding down but the action is heating up. With players starting testing on Wednesday (wide receiver bench press time!) some of the true meat of the week is getting underway.

Today offensive linemen took to the podium, and in this episode we will hear from three of them. First up is Ben Bartch from St. John’s in Minnesota. The Division III prospect made a name for himself down in Mobile during Senior Bowl week, and he is looking to keep that momentum out in Indianapolis. Come for the insight, stay for the weight gain shake recipe.

Next is Lloyd Cushenberry from LSU. The interior offensive lineman spoke at length about what it means to be a center, and what that LSU offense accomplished together.

Finally the show concludes with the podium session from Cesar Ruiz. The Michigan center shared lessons about leadership and loss, and his remarks are a must-listen. Something tells me the New England Patriots — who have met with him — are going to like this young man.
