Offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor has signed his tender with the New England Patriots, the NFL transaction wire confirmed Thursday.
Eluemunor, 25, garnered the original-round designation from New England as a restricted free agent in March.
The deadline for teams around the league to sign restricted players such as Eluemunor to offer sheets was set to arrive Friday.
New England had acquired the former Pro Football Writers of America All-Rookie selection and a 2020 sixth-round pick from Baltimore Ravens last August. In the exchange, Baltimore received a fourth-round pick that would ultimately become No. 129 overall.
Eluemunor, listed at 6-foot-4, 335 pounds, went on to appear in 10 games during the regular season for the Patriots. He logged 29 snaps on offense to go with 38 snaps on special teams.
The 2017 fifth-rounder out of Texas A&M is scheduled to earn $2.133 million in base salary next campaign on an interior that currently includes Joe Thuney, David Andrews, Shaq Mason, Hjalte Froholdt and Najee Toran under contract.
Eluemunor checked into 17 contests as a Raven, making two starts at right guard and one at left tackle.
