The Scho Show Episode #101: Previewing the second day of the 2020 NFL draft

Recapping Day One, previewing Day Two.

Round One of the 2020 NFL Draft is in the books. At the outset, the New England Patriots did what was predicted at many places, including here at The Show Show’s “Mock of Integrity”: They traded out of the first round. In the process, the Patriots added picks at 37 and 71 from the Los Angeles Chargers, setting themselves up with five selections on the second night.

Before we dive into what the Patriots can do with those five picks, we recap the first round. Picks that were good, picks that were not, and perhaps a theme emerging as a results of the real world we are communally living in. Are teams valuing experience, perhaps, more than other traits?

In the second half of the show, we get into New England’s five picks and names to watch, plus Mark Schofield’s predictions on how those selections play out.
