Patriots unveil All-Decade roster of the 2010s

The New England Patriots’ All-Decade team of the 2010s is now written in ink.

The organization announced its roster of past and present players on Wednesday afternoon. And beyond head coach Bill Belichick, here’s who made the cut from a 10-year window that brought three Super Bowl victories for New England.

OFFENSE

  • Quarterback: Tom Brady
  • Running back: James White
  • Fullback: James Develin
  • Tight end: Rob Gronkowski
  • Wide receiver: Wes Welker
  • Wide receiver: Julian Edelman
  • Flex: Danny Amendola
  • Offensive tackle: Nate Solder
  • Offensive tackle: Sebastian Vollmer
  • Guard: Logan Mankins
  • Guard: Joe Thuney
  • Center: David Andrews

DEFENSE

  • Defensive tackle: Vince Wilfork
  • Defensive tackle: Lawrence Guy
  • Defensive end: Chandler Jones
  • Defensive end: Trey Flowers
  • Outside linebacker: Rob Ninkovich
  • Outside linebacker: Kyle Van Noy
  • Inside linebacker: Jerod Mayo
  • Inside linebacker: Dont’a Hightower
  • Cornerback: Malcolm Butler
  • Cornerback: Stephon Gilmore
  • Safety: Devin McCourty
  • Safety: Patrick Chung

SPECIAL TEAMS

  • Kicker: Stephen Gostkowski
  • Punter: Ryan Allen
  • Returner: Julian Edelman
  • Special-teamer: Matthew Slater

Edelman got the nod at a pair of positions during the Patriots Hall of Fame Nomination Committee’s deliberations earlier this April. And of the 27 players chosen to fill the 28 positions, 16 were unanimous.

New England’s All-Decade roster of the 2000s also featured Brady behind center, Welker out wide, and former first-round picks in Mankins and Wilfork on the lines.
