On Friday, players and coaches from the New England Patriots took to Zoom to meet with the media, including head coach Bill Belichick and three of the Patriots’ four quarterbacks.
In the 124th installment of The Scho Show, Mark Schofield highlights some of the discussion. First up, the venerable head coach. While Belichick seemed to be in midseason form, deftly avoiding giving too much away, his comments on coaching during Covid-19 are worth discussion.
Then, the quarterbacks. Cam Newton, Jarrett Stidham and Brian Hoyer all met with the press as well. What Newton had to say about his departure from the Carolina Panthers and his start in New England is fascinating, but this truly is a quarterback battle.
