College football conferences are canceling their football seasons, which will have lasting implications for the NFL. How will teams know which players deserve to be first round picks if they haven’t played for a year? What if the college season takes place in the spring, alongside the draft? What does that mean for a team like the Patriots that need a quarterback next year?

And then the Patriots signed a handful of familiar faces to replace the players that opted out of the season, and added two other veterans that played in similar schemes- running back Lamar Miller, who played under former Patriots offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien with the Texans, and cornerback Michael Jackson Sr., who played under former Patriots defensive coordinator Matt Patricia with the Lions.

Alec and Rich cover it all. This podcast is available in the iTunes store, Stitcher, TuneIn, BluBrry, Podcast Mirror and via RSS Feed. Please subscribe and comment on what you want to hear about in future podcasts!
