The New England Patriots’ active roster reduced to 75 on Saturday.

Wide receiver Quincy Adeboyejo has been waived with the injury designation, the organization announced.

The transaction leaves five openings for New England ahead of the initial full-pads practice of training camp behind Gillette Stadium on Monday.

Adeboyejo, 25, had signed to the practice squad last November. He remained through the conclusion of the campaign before agreeing to terms on a futures contract in January. If unclaimed, the 6-foot-3, 200-pound Ole Miss product would revert to injured reserve.

Originally entering the league with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2017, Adeboyejo appeared in one contest as a rookie before spending 2018 on physically unable to perform. He finished the 2019 preseason as a member of the New York Jets.

New England’s wideout depth chart currently stands with Julian Edelman, Mohamed Sanu, N’Keal Harry, Jakobi Meyers, Gunner Olszewski, Damiere Byrd, Devin Ross, Will Hastings, Isaiah Zuber and Jeff Thomas.
