The New England Patriots have ruled out three in advance of Sunday’s season finale against the New York Jets.

That three includes Damien Harris after the running back, who had missed consecutive games due to an ankle injury, went from limited to sidelined in practice.

His 2020 brought 10 starts, 743 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns for New England.

Starting offensive linemen Shaq Mason and David Andrews also did not return to the fields shadowing Gillette Stadium on Friday. And on the defensive side of the ball, neither did linebackers Terez Hall and Anfernee Jennings, who have been listed as questionable.

Here’s the final injury report leading up to the 1 p.m. ET kickoff.

OUT

  • Patriots: RB Damien Harris (ankle), G Shaq Mason (calf), C David Andrews (calf)
  • Jets: no players listed

The Patriots sent linebackers Tashawn Bower and Josh Uche to injured reserve on New Year’s Eve. And on New Year’s Day, head coach Bill Belichick confirmed that wide receiver Julian Edelman’s 21-day window to be activated from injured reserve will close. Now an additional three are set to miss Week 17. The aforementioned Mason and Andrews were among those to exit New England’s matchup with the Buffalo Bills on Monday night.

New York has yet to downgrade a member of the 53-man roster to out after placing running back Frank Gore and guard Josh Andrews on IR.

QUESTIONABLE

  • Patriots: WR Donte Moncrief (thigh), WR Matthew Slater (knee), OT Jermaine Eluemunor (ankle), OT Justin Herron (ankle), DT Lawrence Guy (shoulder), DT Byron Cowart (back), DT Adam Butler (shoulder), LB Shilique Calhoun (knee), LB Ja’Whaun Bentley (shoulder), LB Terez Hall (ankle), LB Anfernee Jennings (shoulder), CB J.C. Jackson (knee), CB Justin Bethel (neck), S Devin McCourty (shoulder), LS Joe Cardona (ankle), K Nick Folk (back)
  • Jets: WR Jeff Smith (shoulder), CB Javelin Guidry (knee), CB Bless Austin (illness)

New England stands with 16 questionable. All of whom, aside from Hall and Jennings at the linebacker level, took part in Friday’s practice in a limited capacity. Both began and ended the week as non-participants after suffering ankle and shoulder injuries in the team’s 38-9 loss to Buffalo.

A trio of Jets are officially questionable heading into the AFC East encounter in Foxborough. Smith at wide receiver and Guidry at cornerback were limited in practice Friday due to shoulder and knee injuries, respectively. Austin was a non-participant for the New York secondary due to an illness.
