Thank you to the New England Patriots for another season!
No, it didn’t end the way we’re used to. And no, nothing about this year resembled anything close to normal, in every possible sense. But it’s still a privilege to be a Patriots fan, and rooting for this team is still a joy. They can’t be good every year, and 2020 was a stark reminder of that. Nothing really went right from the get-go, beginning with the opt outs and going downhill from there, but there still isn’t a team in the entire NFL that I’d rather root for.
There are a ton of questions marks surrounding this team at almost every position, so we’re all in for an...um...interesting...offseason. But there’s plenty of time to break all of that down. Let’s all take a moment to be thankful for the effort this team put out, even when things looked bleak, and all the guys who may have played their last down in a Patriots uniform,
Thanks, boys. Stay healthy, and we’ll see some of you next Fall.
