As the New England Patriots returned to practice on Thursday, so did running back Damien Harris and right guard Shaq Mason.
The starters would be among the limited with the Dallas Cowboys drawing near. Harris had been listed as a non-participant to open the week due to a ribs injury, while Mason had been out with an abdomen injury since last week.

The Patriots downgraded Herron, who has started three games between left and right tackle this fall, to sidelined on Thursday. The 2020 sixth-round pick out of Wake Forest had previously been limited with an abdomen issue. Wade also remained a non-participant for New England. The rookie fifth-round cornerback by way of Ohio State sustained a concussion during practice last week.

Harris and Mason joined eight others as partial participants for the Patriots. The back has totaled 230 rushing yards, 46 receiving yards, two touchdowns and two fumbles over 70 touches on the campaign. The guard, meanwhile, had played every offensive snap until being ruled out ahead of Week 5. The Cowboys added Smith, a seven-time Pro Bowl and four-time All-Pro left tackle, to the limited on Thursday because of a neck injury.
