As the New England Patriots returned to the practice fields on Thursday, so did linebacker Dont’a Hightower and defensive end Deatrich Wise Jr.
The pair of starters would be among the limited after missing New England’s previous session, while an additional trio remained sidelined as the New York Jets draw near.
Here’s the updated injury report heading into Sunday’s 1 p.m. ET kickoff at Gillette Stadium.

And Wise accounted for six tackles and one quarterback hit along New England’s defensive line in the overtime defeat.

Jets
- S Marcus Maye (ankle)
While unlisted, running backs Damien Harris and J.J. Taylor, offensive tackle Justin Herron and outside linebacker Ronnie Perkins have not carried a practice designation for New England after being questionable for Week 6. As for New York, Maye graduated from limited to full participation on Thursday while managing an ankle issue. The franchise-tagged Jets safety last played against the Denver Broncos on Sept. 26.
