The New England Patriots returned to the practice fields without four members of the starting offensive line as Houston Texans prep got underway Wednesday.

Right tackle Trent Brown and right guard Shaq Mason were sidelined due to calf and abdomen issues, respectively, after left tackle Isaiah Wynn and left guard Mike Onwenu were placed on the Covid-19 reserve list to begin the week.

And on the defensive side of the line, Henry Anderson has been placed on New England’s injured reserve with a season-ending pectoral tear.

Here’s the first injury report ahead of Sunday’s 1 p.m. ET kickoff at NRG Stadium.

DID NOT PARTICIPATE

Patriots

  • OT Trent Brown (calf)
  • G Shaq Mason (abdomen)
  • DL Henry Anderson (pectoral; placed on IR)
  • LB Kyle Van Noy (groin)

Texans

  • QB Deshaun Watson (not injury related)
  • RB Rex Burkhead (hip)
  • WR Chris Conley (not injury related)
  • WR Brandin Cooks (not injury related)
  • OT Marcus Cannon (back)
  • C Justin Britt (knee)

Neither Wynn nor Onwenu count against the Patriots’ 53-man roster while on the Covid-19 reserve list. But Brown has been inactive for three consecutive games after suffering a calf strain during the first drive of New England’s opener. And to the right tackle’s left, Mason has yet to miss an offensive snap this season. A veteran linebacker in Van Noy would accompany them as a non-participant on Wednesday because of a groin injury that recently kept him questionable.

LIMITED PARTICIPATION

Patriots

  • LB Ronnie Perkins (ankle)
  • LB Ja’Whaun Bentley (shoulder)
  • S Kyle Dugger (hamstring)
  • S Cody Davis (knee)
  • K Nick Folk (left knee)
  • CB Jonathan Jones (ankle)
  • CB Jalen Mills (hamstring)

Texans

  • WR Danny Amendola (thigh)

Seven practiced in a limited capacity for the Patriots. All of whom aside from Perkins and Bentley were active last Sunday night at Gillette Stadium. The former awaits his rookie debut. The latter is managing a shoulder injury after logging 17 solo tackles through 137 defensive snaps this fall. Bentley had been questionable for Week 4.

FULL PARTICIPATION

Patriots

  • no players listed

Texans

  • RB Scottie Phillips (illness)
  • CB Jimmy Moreland (illness)

No members of New England’s active roster went from limited to full participation on Wednesday. Two players dealing with illnesses did so for Houston’s side of the aisle.
