One of the overlooked stats that tells a story about this Pats team might be the three and out. Have you noticed how few of these we've seen with Mac under center? Remember how frustrating it was, especially in the first quarter, to see TB12-led offenses going 3 and out? This team always seems to advance the ball, and it leads to a fresh defense and good field postion even when there are any points to be had. I hope as Mac develops, he'll always be a game manager FIRST.
I'd really like to see these stats, if anyone out there likes doing research.
