The New England Patriots will face the New Orleans Saints without right tackle Trent Brown and outside linebacker Josh Uche.
Both would be announced among the inactives 90 minutes prior to Sunday’s 1 p.m. ET kickoff at Gillette Stadium after being listed as questionable.
Here’s a glance through the rest of the scratched for both New England and New Orleans.
Patriots inactives
RB Rhamondre Stevenson
TE Devin Asiasi
OT Trent Brown
LB Josh Uche
LB Ronnie Perkins
CB Shaun Wade
The Patriots had three designated as questionable on the final injury report. Two are now scratched. Brown last played in Week 1 due to a calf strain and had been a limited participant, while Uche also was on Friday due to a back issue after logging three sacks through two games. But Adrian Phillips sat out consecutive practices for non-injury reasons and is available for New England’s meeting with New Orleans. The veteran safety has handled 88 defensive downs as well as an interception this fall.
Saints inactives
QB Ian Book
WR Lil’Jordan Humphrey
C Erik McCoy
DT Albert Huggins
CB Desmond Trufant
The Saints previously ruled out McCoy, who remained sidelined throughout preparations for the Patriots. The starting center marked the lone player left on New Orleans’ Week 3 injury report. McCoy has not played since suffering a calf injury five snaps into the opener. Cesar Ruiz, a 2020 first-round pick out of Michigan, has kicked in from right guard in his absence at the pivot.
