New England Patriots wide receiver N’Keal Harry announced a move to the single digits on Monday evening.
The 2019 first-round draft choice, on injured reserve to begin the regular season, will be switching to No. 1 in his return to the active roster later this fall.

It’s the number that quarterback and captain Cam Newton occupied for New England until his release at the NFL’s 53-man roster deadline last week. And it’s the number that Harry occupied during his tenure at Arizona State as well as Chandler High School.
Fellow wideout Nelson Agholor will take on No. 15 for New England in a corresponding change.
The March arrival previously wore No. 13 from organized team activities through the preseason in Foxborough. But Agholor had No. 15 as a member of the Las Vegas Raiders last season and while at USC, where the eventual Philadelphia Eagles draft pick became a first-team All-Pac-12 selection following a 2014 campaign that included 104 receptions for 1,313 yards and 12 touchdowns.
In additional jersey movement, per the team website, rookie defensive tackle Christian Barmore out of Alabama has gone from No. 70 to No. 90 while veteran linebacker Harvey Langi has gone from No. 48 to No. 52.
The Patriots host the Miami Dolphins for a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff Sunday at Gillette Stadium.
