The New England Patriots’ third primetime game of the season ended just like their first two: in disappointment. This time, it was the Buffalo Bills who were able to come away with a victory.
Dominating in all three phases, the Patriots’ AFC East rivals won 24-10 in a game that was only close in in the first quarter. From that point on, Buffalo started pulling away to take a 17-7 lead into the locker room; adding another touchdown in the fourth quarter to effectively seal the deal.
The loss drops the Patriots to 6-6 on the year and is another blow to the team’s playoff hopes. Meanwhile, Buffalo can celebrate its first three-game win streak over New England since the early 1990s.
