The New England Patriots began Las Vegas Raiders week without four members of the active roster, and the sidelined remained the same for Thursday’s practice at Arizona Stadium.
Aside from the late addition of Jakobi Meyers.
He joined running back Rhamondre Stevenson, fellow wide receiver DeVante Parker, offensive tackle Isaiah Wynn and cornerback Jack Jones as a non-participant in Tucson.
Here’s the second injury report ahead of Sunday’s 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff at Allegiant Stadium.
DID NOT PARTICIPATE
Patriots
- RB Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle)
- WR Jakobi Meyers (concussion)
- WR DeVante Parker (concussion)
- OT Isaiah Wynn (foot)
- CB Jack Jones (knee)
Raiders
- G Alex Bars (knee)
- CB Rock Ya-Sin (knee)
An ankle injury held Stevenson to 13 offensive snaps versus the Arizona Cardinals. New England’s leader with 742 rushing yards, 58 receptions and five touchdowns from scrimmage has since missed consecutive practices. Amid a short turnaround, Monday night’s 27-13 win at State Farm Stadium also saw Parker enter the NFL’s concussion protocol while Jones went to the sideline with a knee injury. The veteran wide receiver and the rookie cornerback continued to sit out on Thursday. As for Wynn along the line, the former first-round pick last played in November due to a foot injury sustained against the New York Jets.
LIMITED PARTICIPATION
Patriots
- RB Damien Harris (thigh)
- OT Yodny Cajuste (calf/back)
- DT Christian Barmore (knee)
- CB Jalen Mills (groin)
Raiders
- RB Josh Jacobs (quad/hand)
- OT Jermaine Eluemunor (oblique/wrist)
- DT Andrew Billings (fibula)
- LB Denzel Perryman (hip)
Four went forward as partial participants for the Patriots. And that had been five. Meyers, who was not seen taking part in team stretching during the portion of practice open to the media, officially did not take part in practice, either. The 2019 undrafted arrival was among the inactives on Monday after exiting with a concussion in the fourth quarter the week prior against the Buffalo Bills.
FULL PARTICIPATION
Patriots
- LS Joe Cardona (ankle)
Raiders
- G Dylan Parham (knee)
- DE Malcolm Koonce (knee)
- CB Sam Webb (illness)
New England’s long snapper since 2015 had been limited for the initial practice on the University of Arizona campus due to an ankle injury. But Cardona, who has appeared in 126 consecutive games in the regular season, improved to full participation for the second session. NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero reported Wednesday evening that the Patriots plan to sign free-agent long snapper Tucker Addington to the practice squad.
