Did they think they were drafting for some other team?

Pats didn't seem to check off any of the wish list boxes at all, unless you count a first rounder that they could have gotten later. The WR was not one of the top guys available and will likely be another #2, 3 or 4 option. Multiple running backs. A 5-8 corner who will be useless in the outside and blockable by RBs and WRs. The potential #1 corner, the true stud WR and bigtime playmakers at LB, DL and Edge were all passed over. For the first time in years, I'm not that excited about camp. The Stevenson and Barmore picks of a year ago were the kind they needed again this year, and yet they picked guys with just average grades. They also got their criminal. I'm really wondering what the plan is, because the chance to draft impact players just came and went.
