The New England Patriots’ 2022 season has come to an end.
Losing 35-23 to the Buffalo Bills in Week 18 of the regular season, the team needed some help to qualify for the playoffs. However, it did not get any. As a result, New England has now missed the tournament a second time in the last three years.
The Patriots now finish the year with an 8-9 record, which is their third losing season since Bill Belichick’s arrival in 2000. There will be a lot to discuss over the coming weeks and months heading into 2023, but the gist is this: New England again had its chances to play winning football on Sunday but made too many mistakes in all three phases to do so.
