QB(2). Mac Jones, Bailey Zappe.

Really obvious here. Even though I would trade Mac and roll with Zappe this season the patriots are not going to go for that.

RB (4). Rhamondre Stevenson, James Robinson, Pierre Strong Jr and Kevin Harris.

Stevenson is a lock. I think Robinson is going to come in and be the Damien Harris replacement/pass catching back. Strong and K Harris will probably have bigger contributions on Special Teams this season. Montgomery is old and he is coming after an injury so he gets the axe.

WR (6) Devante Parker, Kendrick Bourne, Juju Smith Schuster, Tyquan Thornton, Kayshon Boutte, Matthew Slater.

The first four are locks unless parker is a suprise cut candidate or bourne gets traded, which I would not mind because he could probably fetch a 4th rounder. Slater is obvious. I'm rolling with Boutte over Douglas because he can play outside, while douglas is slot only and Boutte has a higher chance of being claimed off waivers.

TE (3). Hunter Henry, Mike Gesicki, Johnny Lumpkin.

Henry is a lock and Gesicki is a lock. Now I'm projection Lumpkin to make the roster because he can be the blocking TE. He also has some underrated pass catching ability. Let's be honest Gesicki can't block. If you look at the blocking snaps N'keal harry actually had more blocks during the 2021 season than Gesicki did during the 2022 season. Also, BoB in his years at Houston always carried 3 TEs during his opening day roster.

Oline (9). Trent Brown, Mike Onwenu, David Andrews, Cole Strange, Riley Reiff, Calvin Anderson, Sidy Sow, Atonio Mafi.

The first 8 are locks. Mafi will probably make it. Fan favorite Mcdermott is gone, but he is on the wrong side of 30 and is a journey practice squader.
