In off-the-field news, apparently New England Patriots linebacker Kyle Van Noy and kicker Stephen Gostkowski are golfing buddies.

Does this win the award for “most surprising bromance between two key Patriots players?” Like, Tom Brady and Brandon Bolden is just hilarious, but I get that due to their time together on offense. How did Van Noy and Gostkowski even connect?

I’d be less surprised if Devin McCourty and Joe Cardona played poker together on their days off. The only more intriguing combination would be Ryan Allen and literally anyone else.

Yeah, yeah, punters are people, too. But he’s a trump card in this mental exercise.
