The New England Patriots have sent numerous players to the Pro Bowl over the years, but not all franchise greats have actually been nominated to the NFL’s all-star game. Two of them, plus another short-time member of the organization, were recently named among the top-10 players to never make the Pro Bowl:
9. QB Steve Grogan
5. WR Julian Edelman
3. WR Joey Galloway
While Galloway spent the majority of his 16-year career outside of New England — he caught just seven passes in three games as a Patriot before his release in 2009 — Grogan and Edelman are both franchise legends. The former served as the team’s starting quarterback in the 1970s and 1980s and appeared in 153 games, while the latter was instrumental in bringing three Super Bowls to New England.
While neither has been named to a Pro Bowl (so far), they have secured a spot among the all-time great Patriots.
