With Halloween coming up, one burning question appears to be on almost every reporter’s mind: “I wonder what this person’s favorite candy is?”
New England Patriots starting quarterback Mac Jones was asked that question on Thursday by ESPN’s Mike Reiss, and it apparently was not an easy one for him to answer. Calling it “the most loaded question I’ve ever gotten,” the first-round rookie took a rather simplistic approach.
“Honestly, I have no clue. I have too many favorites,” Jones said. “Just anything chocolate, or like Starburst sweet. I’d do it all. It’s whatever they have at the door. You can’t complain.”
Jones will start the eighth game of his career on October 31, going up against the Los Angeles Chargers on the road. The Patriots obviously hope that he won’t get spooked on Halloween, and instead will lead the team back to .500 for the first time since early September.
