The New England Patriots are on the plus-side of .500 for the first time this season, thanks to a convincing 24-6 victory in Carolina. They need a quick turnaround, however, given the challenge that awaits this coming Sunday: the Cleveland Browns will be visiting Gillette Stadium.

Like the Patriots, the Browns are entering Week 10 with a 5-4 record. And just like the Patriots they have also played some uneven football so far this season but are coming off a rather lop-sided win: the team beat its division rivals from Cincinnati with a final score of 41-6 on Sunday.

All the signs point towards a close game between the Patriots and Browns, and the opening odds reflect this. According to DraftKings Sportsbook, New England is favored by 2.5 points with the over/under set at 44.5. Given that home field advantage is usually worth a field-goal advantage, one can see that the two clubs are considered equals in the eyes of the oddsmakers.
